Arriving by Air

Depending on the season, travelers would fly from Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Chicago, or Minneapolis to Traverse City. Rental cars are available at the airport. You should allow 30-40 minutes for driving time.
Arriving by Car
Distances from major cities within 660 miles are shown on the table to the right. We suggest picking the best route from your point of origin to Traverse City. Once there, take the Grandview Parkway (M31/M37) north to Traverse Highway (M72) and turn left toward Empire. Stay on Traverse Highway about 9.8 miles until you come to the intersection with the Maple City Road (CR677) and turn right. Stay on Maple City Road about 8.7 miles through Maple City until you come to Harbor Highway (M22) and turn right. Travel on Harbor Highway about 1.6 miles until you come to a little red schoolhouse and turn right at Lime Lake Road. In about .6 miles you will be at the entrance to they Manitou Passage Golf Club. The distance in total is about 20.7 miles. You should allow 30-40 minutes for driving time.
